Spalted Pumpkin - Sculptural Piece

Have you ever wanted to own a piece of wood-turned art that has been sculpted for your entertainment? All of my pieces have been made with the love and passion I have for nature and unlocking the beauty within the materials I use. Each Harry Smith original leaves my workshop with a part of my soul embedded in it, my favourite part is making a piece of wood something it was always meant to be, art.
 
Everyone loves a pumpkin at Halloween, so I thought I would turn my own. I used some spalted Ash that had the most amazing spalting I've ever seen. This was complimented with a little applewood stalk that pulled the piece together nicely. What a perfect addition to your Halloween decotations with would be!
